The Last Networking Company: Our Investment in Meter

At WndrCo, we back companies that reimagine how people live and work in the modern world. Today, we’re excited to deepen our partnership with Meter in their $170M Series C alongside General Catalyst, Microsoft, and other leading investors.
Meter is making enterprise networking as simple as a utility. For decades, enterprise networking has meant the same painful process: being on phone hold with ISPs, buying expensive hardware (802.11 what?), and setting up VLANs, RADIUS, QoS, throttling, roaming, mesh topologies, firewall ACLs, and on and on. Meter replaces all of that complexity with a single monthly subscription that covers everything: custom hardware, intuitive software, installation, management, upgrades, and support. No upfront costs, no middlemen. Just Internet that works.
We’ve been lucky to partner with founders Sunil and Anil Varanasi since 2021. Soon after we met, our partner ChenLi Wang, also our in-house director of IT, switched our offices over to Meter. Since then, Meter has attracted an impressive roster of customers spanning industries: Rippling, Bridgewater, Lyft, Tishman Speyer, among others. In the past year alone, the company has nearly quadrupled its ARR while moving upmarket with a growing pipeline of Fortune 500 customers and announcing a strategic partnership with Microsoft.
Both of our offices already run on Meter. We think soon, every commercial space will as well.
